Open Art Studios This Weekend, Sat/Sun 11am - 5pm
This weekend, 11am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, Barry Sherbeck will be sharing his creative process and techniques in photography as part of the Open Art Studios Tour.
Barry will be shooting portraits, flowers, organic shapes, and food.
It's casual, stop by any time (right here at Lucent Room, 305 L. Livingston St.) from 11-5 on Sat or Sun, learn something new about light, help make some images!

- Linocut works by Gary Nauman featuring a series on "journey"
- Photographs by Barry Sherbeck featuring a new series of over 60 iPhone images

Madison MMOCA Spring Gallery Night, May 1
On Friday May 1, Lucent Room Studio hosted three artists:
- New layered resin paintings and other works by Jonathan Kramka
- Photographs by Barry Sherbeck featuring "The Secret Lives of Chives," organic textures and forms, and a series from Rwanda.
- Live music by Mary Strait on classical guitar

Thanks to all who visited Lucent Room Studio on MMOCA's Gallery Night, Fall 2008. The art is still available for viewing by appointment, featuring two artists:
- Photographic series by Barry Sherbeck featuring color, curve, shadow, and texture
- Paintings by Jonathan Kramka, images submerged in layers of hypercolor resin
Gallery Night is organized each spring and fall by
Madison Museum of Contemporary Art.
