Studio Rules & Regulations

The balance of your rental fee must be paid before beginning to use the studio. (see rates)

Your selected studio reservation window (for example, from 9am to 1pm) includes all setup and cleanup time.

By renting Lucent Room Studio for any purpose, you agree to the following rules. The renter of the studio should be sure that all other persons using or occupying the studio are also familiar with these rules and follow them.

• We will respect the value and integrity of people and property.
• We won't smoke inside.
• We won't break any laws or bring any illegal items into the studio.
• We will report any damage or problems immediately to studio personnel or 608-616-0306 or info@lucentroom.com.
• We will stick to our reserved time or notify the studio in advance if more time is needed
• We won't touch lighting bulbs with bare hands; we'll use dust free cloth or cotton gloves provided by the studio. (Lights can explode due to oils from human skin). We'll inform the studio of any replacements needed or made during the rental session.
• We'll be sure all electronic gear is turned off, unplugged, and all equipment is put away before the end of our rental session.
• We won't use more background paper (black or white) than needed. We won't cut background paper just to remove small blemishes on the paper (which can be washed out with background light.) We will roll paper back onto spool before leaving the studio.
• We won't step on background paper with outside shoes. If outside shoes are required for a photo session we'll use a towel and water to wipe shoes clean first (and allow drying) before being placed on the paper; or we'll use a piece of scrap paper on the floor over the clean paper.
• We'll leave the kitchen completely clean and all dishes washed. We won't touch food or drinks that belong to someone else.
• We'll respect our neighbors and keep the sound level down. (Other businesses and residents occupy this building.)
• We'll keep track of time, using the sign in and out book when starting and finishing our session.
• We'll be sure all doors are locked before leaving the studio session.
• We will indemnify and hold harmless the studio owners for any legal liability or dispute that arises from our use of the studio or in any way related to our use of and presence in the studio.
• If anyone in our group breaks these rules, we realize this might entail additional expenses or possible banishment from Lucent Room Studio. We agree to pay any normal and additional expenses incurred by the use of the studio during our rental time.
• We realize some studio equipment is only available by request with advance notice.
• If there are any concerns or needs or damage,  we will inform the studio immediately at 608-616-0306 or info@lucentroom.com.
